The OES App (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is the mobile application designed to connect you with your Online Event Staffing (OES) profile and deliver push notifications. OES and the App are owned and provided by Tri X Factor Ltd. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is used in connection with the app.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the OES mobile application (Android & iOS). The app connects to your OES portal account, which is created and managed by your police agency. The app itself does not allow public sign-ups.

The usage of the OES portal (the backend system) is governed by agreements and policies between your agency and Tri X Factor Ltd. This policy explains how data is handled when you use the mobile app to access that system.

What Data Do We Collect?

Through the app, the following types of data may be transmitted to and from the OES backend system:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and login credentials (provided by your agency).

  • Event Data: Information related to events you are assigned to, including notes you may add.

  • Files and Uploads: Documents, photos, or other files you choose to submit through the portal.

  • Push Notifications: A device identifier (OneSignal Subscription ID) linked to your OES profile, used to deliver notifications.

The app itself does not create new user accounts. All accounts are provisioned and approved by your agency.

How Do We Use Your Data?

  • To authenticate you and connect you to your OES account.

  • To allow you to view and update information related to your assigned events.

  • To send you secure push notifications.

  • To support your agency in managing staffing and communication needs.

We do not sell or use your information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. OneSignal may collect device information such as:

  • IP address and mobile device identifiers

  • Device type, operating system, browser, language, and time zone

  • General (approximate) location inferred from IP address

Data Storage

Personal data associated with your account is stored in the OES backend system managed by your agency. Tri X Factor Ltd. provides the technical platform but does not independently create or manage user accounts.

Your Rights

  • You may stop receiving push notifications at any time by disabling notifications in your device settings or uninstalling the app.

  • You may request deletion of your OES account and associated data by contacting your agency administrator. If you require further assistance, you may also contact us at support@trixfactor.ca.
