Privacy Policy

This iOS application (“the App”) is developed by Tri X Factor Ltd. to connect users with their organization’s AARMS (Association & Records Management System) portal and to deliver push notifications. The App is branded for and distributed to authorized organizations and their members. This Privacy Policy applies to all versions of the App unless otherwise stated in a supplemental client-specific notice.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies only to the use of this mobile application. It explains how data is handled when you use the App and interact with features including push notifications.

An active portal account for your organization’s AARMS deployment is required to use the App. Use of the AARMS web portal is governed by separate terms and privacy policies, which are not covered here.

What Data Do We Collect?

We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) through the App. The only identifier involved is the Push ID (OneSignal Player ID), which is automatically generated by OneSignal when push notifications are enabled. This ID is temporarily accessed by the App and passed to your organization’s AARMS web portal to enable notification delivery. It is not stored by the App itself.

How Do We Use Your Data?

The Push ID is used solely by our backend servers to deliver notifications through the OneSignal platform. Notifications are sent based on topics relevant to your organization, and users can manage or unsubscribe from these topics through the AARMS portal. The Push ID is not used for tracking or any other purpose.

Third-Party Services

We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. OneSignal may process certain data about your device or interactions with the app, such as:

Identifiers: IP address and mobile device identifiers.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, mobile browser, language settings, and time zone.
Geolocation Data: General location information may be inferred from IP addresses. Precise GPS location, such as lat/long, is not collected as said functionality is not part of the App services.

Data Storage

The App does not store any personal data locally on your device. The only identifier used is the Push ID (OneSignal Player ID), which is generated when you allow notifications. This ID is retrieved at runtime and temporarily handled in the app to transmit it to your organization’s AARMS web portal for the purpose of enabling push notifications.

No other data is stored on the device or retained by the app itself.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information, there are no identifiable user rights applicable beyond your ability to stop receiving push notifications at any time by:

Disabling notifications in your device settings or
Uninstalling the App

Organizations using a branded version of this App may publish additional privacy terms on their AARMS portal or website. Users should consult their organization for those details if applicable.
